At the heart of this spectacularly detailed gold choker is a detailed square unit, dressed in polki/uncut diamonds, carved emeralds, turquoise, and tourmalines using the traditional jadai technique. Parallel lines of strands of seed pearls hold the central unit in place, which pass through columns of gem-set units, lined with emerald beads. The lines are crafted with pirai, the art of stringing beads using a thin gold wire.
Small units dressed in uncut diamonds and laria of seed pearls and enamel beads add the finishing touch.
