Advika Necklace
Inspired by the form of an amulet, the Advika necklace is an eclectic avatar of a time-honoured silhouette in Indian jewellery. It is adorned with polki/uncut diamonds and coloured gemstones, framed by red khula meena/enamel, which is painted around them using the champlevé enamelling technique. Suspended cultured pearls and gold pellets/laria introduce gentle movement, lending the piece a sense of fluidity.
The pendant is strung on a cord of pearls, punctuated with emerald and tourmaline drops, completing a composition that is both ceremonial and contemporary.
